When you shoot an enemy, a yellow indicator shows next to him. It says, how much damage you dealt. But:

Indicator says: -3013. Let's count how much was dealt.
armor > 899 - 0 = 899
2114 + 899 = 3013
Seems right. But is it your real damage that you can use in your calculations? Not really. Let's break it down into parts.
These are the stats of my Slayer. But I also had Green Explosive Rounds
which increase damage and Armor Penetration by 12%.
So let's
divide damage to health and armor by damage multipliers.
armor > 899 / 2.00 = ~449
1939 + 449 = 2388
2388 / 1.12 = 2132
Wait... but the damage should be much higher than 2132. What's
wrong?
Let me zoom out a bit.
Look. I didn't shoot Shenji directly - the bullet had to go
through wall (or two, hard to tell but most likely one).
The
wall decreased bullet damage a bit, because it has density.
